The disappearance triggered the largest and most expensive search in aviation history, spanning vast areas of the Indian Ocean. Debris believed to be from the aircraft washed up on coastlines in the region, confirming the plane ended up in the southern Indian Ocean, but the main wreckage was never located.

The mystery of MH370 has haunted the world for over a decade. Repeated underwater searches — including a major one by the company Ocean Infinity — have failed to produce a confirmed discovery. The fate of the aircraft, and of the 239 people aboard, remains one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in aviation history.
